One way of putting it I guess dude haha

Another way of looking at it is:

Raised the profile of the club.

    Earned around 30m quid.

Competing with the big boys of European football. Battered PSG, robbed by the officials once again & taking the game to Barcelona at SJP.

If Meh is competing with the best teams in Europe the yeah I agree.

Dunno what more you or others are expecting 4 yrs into the construction of a super club from the dumpster fire of a Newcastle United who didn't even pay for a window cleaner at the stadium for a decade?

From a club that has more dead pigeons strewn about the stadium than members of staff working at the club full time to a club appearing in domestic cup finals, winning a domestic trophy and playing Champions League twice, getting further in the comp than ever before in the clubs history.

Anyway good luck to you with that positive attitude dude

It?s not really about us, I meant the competition in general.

I think football? in general? is ****ed, and boring for most of the time. Players rolling around pretending to be injured, weak as piss refereeing, slow monotonous football, sideways, backwards,to you, to me, to you, to me! Man City will get the game abolished, yes they win things but jeez it?s boring. I watched the France v England rugby international last wkend, it made me wonder why I bother with football, absolutely best game of rugby I?ve seen ever, brutal last half hour, complete opposite of football!

Mainly because rugby union bosses have tirelessly changed the game to be safer and more entertaining over the last few years. Footballs have not.
The changes in RU have brought fantastic results to entertainment value.

Time wasting and feigning injury are big problems in football - very easily resolved if they could be bothered to take action.

Exactly mate, I've been watching rugby lately and quite refreshing to watch great entertainment instead of the sh!te that is dished up by the so called PL with it's cheating, refs who either don't know the rules or downright corrupt or players feigning injury. These rugby players never question the ref's decisions because he knows the rules and takes no sh!t plus it's good to hear exactly what he says to the players during the game.

this KO stage is the only genuine bit of 'competition' the rest is just fund raising for the Euro Cartel clubs in an attempt by UEFA nullify their desire to set up the Super League.

But yeah I get you, sadly the way of the world these days. No doubt the competition would be more impactful if it was the best of the best.

Saying that, if it was reserved for 'Champions' only. Newcastle United would not have competed.

Anyway, it is what it is unfortunately, the holy grail of Champions League participation and chasing the desperately required financial benefits just to be able to compete in modern football.

    Sad times indeed.
