Not footie related but should I keep you all informed?

    Dear Bedlington Terrier

    Reference: KE13146

Thank you for your recent email regarding the treatment of Palestinian prisoners by Israel.

I share your concerns about this and I am happy to raise this with the Government on your behalf. I have written to the Minister responsible for this area of international affairs today as you requested.

The typical time for a Ministerial response is 20 working days. If I do not receive a timely reply I will chase this up until you have an answer.

As soon as I receive a response I will write to you again. I appreciate you taking the time to bring this to my attention and thank you for engaging in the political process.

    Best wishes,

    Kirith Entwistle MP (she/her)
Member of Parliament for Bolton North East
House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA
Constituency office: 421 Blackburn Road, Bolton, BL1 8NJ

I hope that she is raising it with the Israeli government because she is wasting her time with ours ------even though she is a part of it.

Well Kirith voted to save Starmer from scrutiny over the Mandelson appointment so I wouldn’t expect her to be rocking any boats in Westminster.

Someone please help me out here, did Starmer even mention it when a white child in Bolton was butchered and beheaded by a mentally ill Somalian woman last year?

BT, are you not tninking of the murder in 2020 by an Albanian woman who had been granted Asylum and was mentally ill. She appealed the sentence and this was rejected in 2022. Why would Starmer refer to this when he wasn't in the Government at the time?

She was of course part of the new intake Sir Outwood and it's normal to not rock the boat in your first term.

Unfortunately for Kirith I just cannot see her getting another go.

Labour refuse to condemn the murder of Palestinians while going bat$hit crazy over a mentally ill Somalian stabbing a couple of Jews in London.

At least seven Palestinians were killed in the previous 48 hours, which is the closest available reporting to “yesterday,” based on dated news from 28–29 April 2026.

    What the reports show
Gaza: Five people were killed in two Israeli airstrikes on Gaza City and Khan Younis on 28 April.

West Bank (Silwad): A 37‑year‑old man, Abdul Halim Rouhi Hamad, was killed during an Israeli raid early on 29 April.

West Bank (Hebron): A 15‑year‑old boy, Ibrahim Abdul‑Khayyat, died from gunshot wounds on the evening of 29 April.

This totals seven deaths within that 48‑hour window.

    Where's Starmer?
