Is that right Stewey...England supporters had been drinking. I find that so hard to believe: so out of character. With insider information like this you should ask Bloomer if you could write a feature on the forum.

Spot on!!! France have to take some of the blame, poor policing and the segregation in the grounds is pathetic. Even the Germans have been fighting today where are the police????

Can't wait to see what the world cup in Russia will be like!!!!

'Even the Germans'? Along with us, the Russians and the Italians they're surely amongst the worst.
You and Angry, amongst others, are right though. Why are we surprised and what the hell can we expect in Russia?
Have to be either mad or very wealthy to bother.

I have to disagree. It looks very, very different to me.

French Police standing by and watching whilst Russians put in gumshields and don MMA gloves and masks. Doing nothing as the approach opposing fans and only acting once they attack other groups.

    I’ve not seen that before.

Derby fan was on the radio this morning - said that the security checks going into the stadium were minimal - just a very light 'pat down' - astonishing given the violence that had already occurred in the city before the game. I think the French authorities have some pretty big questions to answer.....

Trouble outside the ground aside, what about the supposed increase in security in light of threats of terrorism?

If huge flares were readily taken inside, the mind boggles what else could have been allowed in!

Good read.. European policing is shocking.. Thick ****s..
Bad policing can make the situation a thousand times worse.. Good policing takes the sting out of the situation.
