    Alan Stubbs

Just listened to the latest interview. Starting to sound a little lost to me. Euros impacting signings etc. Sounds unlikely to me as its not impacting other clubs. I really hope this guy is getting the backing from above.

Of course he is getting the backing.

We are going for playoffs...made Best an offer he could refuse and are failing to entice such stars as our Fab Four in spite of the sterling efforts of PD...actually more bag of crisp offers than sterling.

Has Warnock mentioned the training ground I'm unclear?.

Should be some comings and goings related to the Rotherham four this week..TBH more goings than comings!

KP have offered the club some more of those free nuts to attract one or two players...Stubbs says he would like to get a couple in before pre season training starts!...still no need to rush these things.

When the fantastic tour of Poland gets a bit more publicity then we will be fighting off agents and players no doubt.

We are hoping to get two games in on this European Tour and a couple of trips to the local lap dancing emporium which I believe Zippy may be arranging unless his lawyers ask..then he isn't.

Anyway it must be quite an attraction to the Championship stars bashing PD's door down to sign on the dotted..a trip to Poland!..summer as well"

I cannot imagine why Stubbsy had that glazed look on his boat race.

Anyway all will be well..we can always get a few down and outs to help us out for a short while.

Stubbsy's assistant has been instructed by The TC to position himself in the stand at games and make some sarnies for the press at halftime as it worked well last season.

In TS we trust...Should we worry?...............Nah...still have the car boot money as a saver.

Bit negative there Don. Not like you, after all the guy has only been in the hot seat a couple of weeks.

Not too sure about his declared intention to take his time and wait until the right players come along. Who's to say they'd want to join us anyway? But I suppose the alternative is to bring them in early by the bus-load. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Good luck with that one, Alan.

Bit of a dilemma this because other clubs seem to be getting on with things.
For example, Stubbs has declared an interest in Anthony Stokes but now Blackburn are on the scene.
I think I can guess where he'll end up!

Indications are that Stokes is having a medical at Blackburn today. I appreciate it's early days but if the Derbyshire/Stokes rumours are confirmed it again underlines just how uncompetitive we are at this level. If there are two clubs in the race we finish second. Without a change in recruitment policy, which isn't going to happen, I'm not optimistic about our chances of finishing anywhere outside the bottom six. But we live in hope.
