We simply don't have any world class players anymore, no matter who manages us nothing will alter that fact. We have only ever won one trophy and that was at home, after extra time and with a dubious goal.
For a country that invented the game that is shocking.
These experts like Wright come on after games saying what England should have done. What did they do when they played for England? Nothing.
All the great England players of the past, Lofthouse, Finney, Mathews, etc. What did they win with England? Nothing.
Surely a country whose players think they are better than they really are.
We also don't have a winning mentality, like Italy and Germany, who can play poorly and still make it to finals.

What is missing everytime when it really gets serious is what the Spanish speaking countries call the "Grinta"
There is no translation in English but it's a mix of *******s,courage,pride,determination,solidarity... ..strange that's what rugby is all about!!

If its true that Hart was shouting that sort of stuff then hes an idiot for doing so, because hes been a pile of over rated sh*t as well.
But this sort of stuff and intimidation must go on behind the scenes all the time, and if Iceland want to come to the party (qualify for a tournament) again in future, then they are going to hear it said about them again.
Now it will be interesting to see their attitude against France.

As soon as France scored first the match was over. I bet they watched all the garbage that England did against Iceland and learned from it.
Most fans are saying this has been a sh*t tournament, well I dont think its been that bad but I was expecting better. And some of the negative defensive minded footy on offer from certain teams has been terrible.
And as for England, I hope our players came home feeling totally ashamed of themselves but I doubt it. It must be hard to be down now that they are looking forward to £100k a week again. This tournament was a massive missed opportunity for us to do something, to do exactly what Wales have done to be honest.
