    now duffy

It looks like Swansea are interested in shane Duffy
not surprising as Duffy and Hanley were probably the only good to come from a poor season however if they want him they will have to stump up a similar figure to what rovers want for Hanley
    6 million or do one.

The latest news that Celtic want him and would be willing for James Forrest to come the other way
now as much as I like Forrest as a player do we really need another right winger?
We have 3 already and potentially having just 2 centre backs left concerns me slightly.

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. It's simply an opinion.
I just don't see us selling both. I believe the reason (rightly so) we are holding firm on Hanley is we need the most money we can get, so we don't need to sell Duffy too. If they get the £10m, which is the market value for someone exactly like Hanley, then I think Duffy stays. That said, the wingers need freshening up. I wouldn't be unhappy seeing Conway moved on.

I like Duffy, for me he's a character that lifts spirits - end of. it would be a shame for him to depart.

I cannot believe we would even contemplate selling both Duffy and Hanley
currently the squad we have is just about good enough to keep its head above water take our centre backs of last season out of the team and I have massive reservations we can survive
things have gone quiet at ewood which makes me believe Coyle is happy with what we have/money has gone
that's fine in one way but currently we are no better than last season in my opinion so losing the good from last season and not replacing will result in a huge relegation battle.

Agree robin. The paltry fee received for Hanley (with 10 per cent going to Crewe)is a much worse deal than that for Rhodes IMHO. I dont understand it as we have more than a year left on Hanleys contract unlike Duffy & Marshall, the only real value players left in the squad.

The sad thing is right from the start we needed 7 players of a reasonable quality to become anything like a competitive squad
when we signed 5 in a space of a couple of weeks even I became optimistic
now with Hanley going and possibly Duffy and no sign of anymore transfers coming in suddenly optimism has packed his bags and left.

As said, that's where the academy comes in. A production line, just like their chickens. In their world a chicken is well...a chicken, any one just like any other
