Scottish Club Rangers In For Joe Garner From Preston N.E.

Simon Grayson P.N.E. manager has said that Scottish Club Rangers have put in a bid for 28 year old striker Joe Garner, to which the club as not accepted or declined, Grayson hoping to keep the player.
Could we make a bid, fee & wages a stumbling block.

Don't think they would sell to us.

Also not sure if he would want to come.

Didn't score all that many last season. Maybe the step up to the Championship is too big for him.
He'd score a boatload in the Scottish Highland League though.

Garner looks to be having a medical in the next 24 hours to join Rangers, the fee a reported £1.5 million, half now, other half 2017, after a minor hitch.

Patrick Bamford 23 in sept' 6ft 1inch. He didn't have a good season with Norwich. 1 1/2 Million for him if we could agree wages now that would be good buisness.

Would be amazing but I'd bet he'll be on at least double what we'd offer, be way more than £1.5mill to buy, and have the pick of most of the Championship if he wanted it

Most likely to end up in the Prem with say Burnley or Hull - or right at the top end of the Champ minimum I would say - should have fished for this one when he was on his way to MK Dons a few years back.........

as the saying goes, if you can hear and see the bandwagon, it's too late to get on board...

Looks like a done deal, which means he isn't coming here
