I think the Vietnam conflict is over and people are no longer dying there on a daily basis. The horrendous conflict in Syria is much more worthy of discussion/argument imho

A mate of mine had an American girl staying over once, years ago & I can remember saying to her that America got their @rses kicked in Vietnam, phuck me, I won't bother saying that to another American. She was not happy.
Her second name was Kurtz right enough.

Given the amount of films the yanks made where they beat their Vietnamese opponents it's clear to see it still irks them that a "crowd of natives" sent them and their military might packing right enough.
