Interesting speculation and of the two I would opt for Danny not because he is a superior player but because of his local roots which means he would likely to settle the better and has a real connection with the club. The problem would be just how would he get into the current team and for whom. I also hear rumours of Bob Harris training with the team although I am not sure as to the validity of this information. Anyone better informed?

Wouldn't mind them both back at Palmerston and challenging for the wide midfield positions.

Would take Danny back but that's it. Always had a feeling he would come back.

Danny needs another operation and a period to properly recover from it without being forced to play football.

Effectively, you'd need to nurse him through the season, but then you'd potentially get another 5 or 6 really good years from him.

Is it wise to take him on that basis? I would say very much so. Why? because Dobbie or any of our players could be injured and out for the rest of the season tomorrow.

Would be good to get Carmichael back on board at Palmerston.

If we managed to get both of them that would be an incredible achievement for the club and a real sign of intent for the coming season. If we could get a box to box midfielder in there as well who will also score some goals this team could be really something.

Steven Rigg is a player who can play midfield (or up front) and score goals. I still think he can have a big part to play. Skelton clearly rates him.

Danny over Harris ? Some of you must be going mad. Bob Harris is a far superior player.

I like Danny but his final ball was a lottery.
