This is not a love song. It's professional football, don't carry passengers.
We were crying out for somebody to come to change things. Vaulks did his job. Blackstock was he on the pitch.
Got to get Broadfoot back in that central defence in place of Fry. Didn't happen sat' but Fry gets out muscled like he did against Lambert.
Well Blackstock hasn't had much of a run yet, but so far he reminds me of Alex Revell but not as good.
Looks a bit lazy and will probably start to moan at his team mates if the ball isn't delivered perfectly to him.
I hope he proves me wrong.
Early days yet but he seems to have echoes of Leon Best to me.
I suppose we won't get a clear view of his capabilities until he gets a decent run in the team.
What I can't understand is how come he is so unfit? When did he last attend training before he joined us? He has been with us for a few weeks now and can only manage 10 minutes? Was he/is he Dominos best customer?
It might be "political"
He's been kept in cotton wool and trained carefully so when he does start he has to be something a bit "special" or he'll be spit roasted by the "give him time" brigade !
Not the leader - just head of PR
THE LEADER IS...... .AARRGHH
Exactly, give him time. Hopefuly he will proove us wrong. It might take a frustrating time for him to get match fit though.
Maybe we need to trust Stubbs' judgement a bit more, as, at least in the last couple of games, some of the new players we doubted are starting to liven up and show their worth.
Fingers crossed.
If this guy isn't out on loan at Gainsborough within a week of TS coming to his senses (assuming he still has some) and getting a new manager in then I'm a Dutchman.
