Have players (in contract) been told they can look for another club or is it just rumours?

Is Broadfoot leaving? Rumoured his house is up for sale (did he buy or rent?)and told he can leave

If any players have been told to find another club then why hasn't it been mentioned by club ?

Every club almost would announce which players are available for transfer but we always seem to be a bit backwards.

Perhaps the club respects the privacy of it's employees, as it is required to in the absence of an express agreement with them to do otherwise. Perhaps the players concerned leave it to their agents to do what they are paid for and 'put their names out there'?

Maybe they're not transfer listed as such just advised that if they want regular first team football they should look elsewhere. If they don't find anywhere in the close season then they'll be back training with us as normal. Subtle difference between being available for transfer and being on the transfer list.

The last I knew about the keeper situation the coaching staff have been to watch one recently. It was in a purchase though not a loan.
