I don't think anyone is having a pop at Warne I'm not.
I think it's the mixed messages that's coming out of the club. If this is Warne getting tough I'm all for it but it needs to be consistent and it's not.

I've very rarely criticised anyone from the club and I don't like doing it I'm hoping that TS and Warne can deliver what we want over the next few years.

I do now think though that more clarity is needed on the long term plans for the club.

That's what it seems like to me. If his attitude is as bad as it seems we'll probably struggle to get rid of him. Once again great research into players before signing them. Hopefully a kick up the @rse will work though, because I thought he looked like he had something.

As for Blackstock maybe there's still a chance of him going, if so it would be unwise to upset him.

Ball may have some unfulfilled talent but if he's got a bad attitude then it's best that we move him on.
However, I agree that the club is, as usual, issuing mixed messages and even some of the most optimistic posters on here are now starting to have genuine concerns about how the club is being run and what the immediate future now holds.
The Blackstock impasse is ludicrous and I can't understand why the management team haven't given him an ultimatum or are they scared to tackle this problem head on?
I guess it's still early days but this pre season seems to be unravelling already.
When will the board come out explain, who gave permission to bring Blackstock here.Surely the club should have contested his contrctual obligations when it was reported he was involved as an agent. Is it also fair to say if he makes no attempt to get match fit we contest "not fit for the purpose".The chairman made one almighty bad mistake. The morale in the club ,with him around must be very poor.As regards Ball,he has been badly managed. He has talent but I'm afraid Messrs.Warne,Barker and all the rest of the tagalongs will not improve this lad. This club is a mess .Absolutely clueless!!!!!!

Clean slate, young, isn't that what was said?

Is our club running in the election?

"I can't remember a single game, in which he was outstanding again...Fry was not much better either, both too lightweight"

They are both young men and a setting them against Chris O’Grady - of all people....lol

Both great young players that will only shine with the right support and coaching.....

But to say - "you might get a full back job" is basically an insult !

Rapidly going off Warne as a bloke !

He isn't a manager and now he appears to be turning into a knob head too!

Actually BOTH Fry & Ball are both vastly better footballers than our "current" managers put together....even as senior pro's...

    This is really sad !

Never rated Fry but Ball hope it's just a kick up the ars*. There's something there, I like someone whose not a yes man. If there's something he doesn't like he says so: Peterbora.

Warne says we've got Ajayi, Ihiekwe & Wood but that's not much cover. Never mentions Belaid or Broadfoot so they're not in his plans. Keep Ball young/good enough. Better the devil you know.

    Fry .....

"The teenage centre-back has caught the eye after starting England's last two matches".....

And Ball coming through the ranks at Spurs... only losing out because Spurs first team have been stronger this last 4 years than at any time in their history.

They are both good players.....attitude - can't comment - never met them but as a footballer - Ball is a league one God send.....because he'll have the class to be flexible - JUST WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR......ISN'T IT ?....YES....!
