GGMDONS - you seem to like the word whom!!

St Johnstone talking to Miles Storey. I take it you must be hoping for a player swap to solve the left-back problem you are obsessed with. Storey for Foster. Would that suit you? You would then realise just how very good Considine is and what he brings to the team

Spot on, we've been crying out for a poacher like him for years.

Considine is the weakest link & we should be signing a better left Back, I didn't say the replacement had to come from the SPFL.

Who we sign to replace him its up to DM & his scouts to find, possibly someone we fans have not heard of.

had you heard of Logan before he signed for the Dons? Thought not.

As for Rooney, we need him but should be looking for someone whom is faster outside the box to play along side him for in some games we should play a 4-4-2

    Consi
is not a left back and never will be
Not particularly having a go at him as you cannot question his attitude or commitment, but cmon guys he's a centre half and that's that
If he's the second best left back in the country then that's not saying much about the standard of our left backs I'm afraid
And who mentioned anything about foster, and as gmdons has suggested there are other players out there and don't necessary need to come from Scotland

We hope to sign Maloney before we play Hamilton

Any word of anyone else coming in, as I hear we have cooled our interest in Moult

Not rocket science, major issue is still the defense.
Big Andy and Mark R still worry me. Two many defensive lapses between them but, they are certainly commited

Get a class defender in and it would be fair to say we have recruited very very well, considering Shay and Joe have also extended their contracts

We have cash to splash. Over to you Mr Milne

If....and it's an enormous if.....we got to the group stage of the EL, we may very well be looking to have a bigger squad. As it stands I think we need another versatile defender and a striker that compliments Rooney. Wouldn't hurt to have the likes of Maloney in the team as well. But who's place does he take?

Ive grown to like Andy C a lot....dons fan and fully committed. He is a much better player under McInnes. But he has definitely peaked, getting rid of him seems unfair given his performances...

My fear though is that we have definitely seen the best of Reynolds, injury's seem to have have taken their toll, he has lost his pace and while sold enough most of the time, you cant rely on him anymore, which pains me to say as he has been a great servant to us.

My hope is that Arneson will settle nicely and Reynolds will be better for it.

O'Connor deserves a lot of credit for his play so far this season in Europe..on his best day he can be a great asset, but like Ash before him, on his worse day he has a mare ready to happen.

I dont really get the Maloney link... middle to front is the strongest part of the team. On current form, I cant see Maloney replacing Christie in our first XI.

Defence has to be priority. No slight on Andy Considine who gives great service, but a natural, pacy left back has to be the long term solution.... (Frustrating that we already have one :-) )

It looks like Moult deal is possibly on hold till we know if we are in the EL proper... hard to justify two big wages at no.9 if we aren't in EL

Maloney will spend most of his time on the Bench but will replace Christie against the Tims
