I'm always happy to see our players get into the England team, but he is woefully out of nick.

Its either an indication that England have no midfielders or that Southgate hasn't got a clue what he is doing.

He has had a week off because he is mentally drained, so I can't see how this call up will help.

Hopefully he plays, and plays a blinder and regains a bit of form from it.

Totally 100% agree Whicka. Mentally drained for the club that pays him yet it's ok to join up with a bunch of prima donnas.

Livermore should not be allowed to join up for the England squad until he's 100% fit and playing to the level of what he's paid to do.

PS - what about people who really work their balls off - roofers - plasterers - factory workers - those working on pittance to put food on the table to feed their kids! These are the people who have the right to say they are feckin mentally drained.
