    Ah that’d explain his inconsistencies BD. He obviously sees a speedway bike as an iron horse from hell ridden by a copper and the ghost of Thatcher on the pillion.

    used to love going to owlerton as a kid in the sixties standing on first bend never missed a thursday watching clive featherby guy allott jack kitchen and daredevil tony robinson oh and crickets boring rod

    Compared to Speedway cricket is a non event. Can remember Featherby, Kitchen, Robinson and the great Ron Bagley. Allott a bit before my time.
