Yeah I've always thought what this board needs is a mod who wishes death on people he doesn't agree with and "despises" roughly a sixth of the world's population on the basis of what sky pixie they happen to worship.

Chubby doesn't bother me, he actually believes all the lefty twaddle he reads in the Guardian......which basically just means he's "soft 'int 'ed".....I throw him the odd banana to play with, keeps him quiet.

The reason I occasionally post stuff that winds him up, and some others.....is because it's my right to express my views (exactly the same as the Left continually peddle their nonsense) as long as it is not offensive....Swale or Cher will let me know if I have overstepped the line.....the only problem is that the "line" keeps moving ie my comment about "hair corn-rows" was perfectly acceptable up until 2011 when the High Court ruled that "African Culture hair-styles" were now acceptable in UK schools....jeez....now they are in both the UK and Canadian Parliaments....what next?.....pink mohicans, multiple nose piercings.....sometimes I just feel like giving up and letting the tide of human flotsam wash over me....grrrr

I didn't get Macron (the physical person) mixed up with anyone.....there was a light-show/hologram event on the news, I wasn't paying a lot of attention to it....I said that I felt Macron was being too "gimicky" in trying that (a comment made in a discussion on a wider range of issues)...you said it was Melanchon....I said that the names were similiar....you then went on to make a big issue of it saying "it was your personal crusade to go around MAD correcting inaccuracies"....hahahaha....let's see how often you go after the other posters on here....or is your "crusade" just aimed at people you don't like?

On the Italian argument you stated that 25% of eye-ties "could NOT be avoiding (income) tax".....I then showed you official EU reports showing Italy to be the most corrupt EU country of the Big 7, avoiding VAT, to the tune of 25%, which is a tax due on GOODS and SERVICES.....your reply "that's not income tax (even though SERVICES are clearly in the definition)".....then you stated that the BLACK ECONOMY cannot be estimated......EXACTLY, so how the hell can you say that it is impossible for 25% to be avoiding it....it might be 50%, like it is in Mexico......this is the problem with you Driller, you state a position, then if opposed, you tell us to "prove it"....you do it all the time.....but the simple fact is that half the statements on here are opinions, it's a forum.....you cannot prove that 25% are avoiding taxes, and the closest I can get to FACTS are that the EU say 25% are avoiding VAT.

Secondly I find it utterly bizarre that you want to pick a fight on such weak arguments. You said a hologram show was a good metaphor for Macron because like the hologram he has no substance, not realising that Macron hadn't done the hologram show at all, someone else had. I pointed out the mistake quite politely, but it seems to have riled you to the point where you want to do a 'takedown' of me.

Yes there were riots in France, and you don't need capital letters because I never said there weren't, as I already told you in my previous post. I challenged Tony when he said that 1000 anarchists comprised a 'huge' riot. It's not me who decides what i huge and what's not - it's logic and the English language. France has a proud tradition of high participation in politics and political demonstrations, a huge demonstration in France would be measured in the hundreds of thousands, not the thousands. 1000 people wouldn't even be huge in Nottingham. The EDL who are essentially a fringe group regularly get more than that. 1000 people wouldn't even fill half of Market Square. That's just from a purely numerical perspective, it was also not huge from the point of view of who they were - left wing radials and anarchists - in other words highly motivated militants, with little or no mainstream participation, as you would expect from a population which had just voted Macron in by 65% to 35%.

On the Italian tax argument I stand totally by what I said. I provided Italian government statistics to back up my claim. For clarity, seeing as you have a tendency to exaggerate (see previous paragraph: I said a demonstration wasn't huge, you lied and tried to claim I said there are no riots in France) I didn't say that tax evasion isn't a problem in Italy, it is, not least because the government tries to claw it back by increasing taxes for those who pay taxes.


I suspect Andy asked you who you supported in the US elections because if you care about the environment (which I'm sure you do from your posting of climate data) but you supported Trump on the basis of his immigration policy, you are effectively recognising the gravity of environmental problems but prioritising immigration over the future of the planet - an irrational position. I suspect that's why Andy asked you and I also suspect that's why you didn't answer him.

Anyway, Mrs May - still PM by default on the basis that it's a poisoned chalice.

"History of stalking"?......hahaha.....Andy offered me a challenge, along the lines of posting a pic of himself with his face covered by a hat (it's there for all to see), so I rang him in Canada, from Mexico an hour or so later.....wow, hardly stalking when he actually challenges me, is it?....we had a decent chat, nothing offensive, no threats, very amicable.....why don't you ask him?

......and if you were referring to Sid the Squid....this is the guy that posted an O/T thread entitled "Does anyone have any personal info on Tarkers?".2 years ago, maybe longer?....it gained plenty of views so someone on here can back me up....I even replied myself to help him out......he obviously needed the info for some reason.....I wonder what that was for?

My response, so far, is to use the info from this site, publicly available (it is archived on here somewhere)...to post the Political Thread from his PUBLICLY AVAILABLE West Ayton site.....wow, you call that stalking?......no Driller, that is me returning the compliment on someone who came after me...no idea why.

Sid and I have had Personal Correspondence....it started amicably, but ended up as a stalemate....as far as I'm aware, we appear to be on speaking terms.....now I have a problem, because you keep trying to bring this up.....why?
