And you can assume we'd go well beyond a few bob as well BT. This is a man who is currently guaranteeing us well in excess of £120m a year. If he is on £2m as some reports are suggesting, I'd hope the bonus for keeping us will at least treble that. He's worth every penny.

Rapidly becoming a bit of a joke club Everton, they sack their manager without, apparently, giving a moment's thought to who replaces him. Unsworth, Allardyce, Simeone, Dyche, Silva, they're like a headless chicken running round in circles. Should they come calling, Sean would be well advised to steer clear, but I'm sure he's worked that out for himself by now.

I’m sure he’s well compensated at Burnley and the board are well aware of his value to the club, and vice versa.

Not even second choice. Santo Silva and Simeone appear to have been their top three picks so if SD went he would be fourth choice at best. Everton are are a complete shambles from top to bottom. Their recruitment process for a new manager has been little short of disgraceful.

But probably inevitable, their are two competing factions running the club now, Moshiri wants to go in one direction, big name foreign manager, Kenwright wants to keep it in house, Unsworth to the end of the season, and re-assess then. I would think Allardyce and Dyche are compromise choices, neither really wanted by either faction, and as such both would be foolish to give the job a second's thought.
