west Brom may have been managerless, but as we all know - getting rid of a manager and even bringing in a temp in charge often picks up a team.

i didn't see match, only heard commentary but it appeared that we were better than west brom in both halves of the game....

1 abysmally sloppy goal on the stroke of half time... and another 10 minutes into 2nd half. i thought we were done for at that point.

well fought back - maybe the thought of rafa's wrath had something to do with that ... i saw a brief glimpse of his face at half time.... ooh angry wasn't the word anywhere near describing rafa's face and posture.......

we deserved at least a draw, pity about the offside disallowed goal ... a draw away from home is a good result regardless of who we were playing.... lot's of people saying we have the weakest squad in premier league so in reality any points at all from anywhere are a bonus and unexpected in that context,. next please.........

Regarding Mitrovic, we have talked about it so much and seen it so many times now, it's getting fairly ridiculous. He needs to start him and drop Joselu, everything else is simply unfair. Even the most dedicated believer in Rafa - and I am one myself - have to admit that he's not seeing clearly with this.
That would put Pboro in a fix both disliking Rafa and Mitro with equal venom.

T'would be good if Rafa gave him a run and he was a resounding success.

Rafa seems to afford his Spanish players a little too much leeway when they're playing shoite.

Mitro's problem is he will go and get himself red carded. Always liked the lad, especially when we're under the kosh. No one else battles like him up front. We need people like Gayle and Ritchie scurrying around him and doing something with balls that he holds up. He doesn't apply the finishing touch often but can prevent the ball coming back towards us within 5 secs of every forward pass.

That is something that no one else is really giving.

Joselu does play some good link up stuff, but so does Mitro. Joselu is hopeless in front of goal and Mitro is much better there. It can only because of Mitro's wild side that he's not been starting.

WBA drew with, and very nearly beat, Spurs at Wembley on Saturday.

I am happy with any away point this season. Our away results have been good so far, just a couple of sh*t home ones - especially Bournemouth and Watford, that need to be improved upon.

What he doesn't have in terms of a finishing touch, he makes up for with his head (by this I don't mean intelligence ). He can head a ball.

i would say both teams had patches

    two piss poor sides

    one managerless
the other manged by a world class manager

though you wouldnt have guessed which side was which

    yet again
rafa waited far to long to change things when we were 2 down

Mourinho lost at Huddersfield earlier this season with a squad worth 5-600mil. He's not a world class manager then I suppose?

Their interim manager had also managed the club before for 4 years, so not like he was coming in cold to the club.

He said last night it has whetted his appetite for management again, so it's not like the Everton situation where their interim doesn't have any management experience

nope but they are not his players and unlike the everton situation he was part of the management eteam that seemed to have lost the players

yet he seems to have got something from them

but yet again he out thought RAFA
rafa took far to long turning things around when we went 2 down
