Jez - She ? Her ?
Charming but says it all.
Balanced DEBATE is the missing word you seek.
Bonsoir.
[QUOTE=Jezleeds;38742897]Wow - now you turn to the idea of someone being 'charming' because I used the word 'her'. That's 'reasoned', isn't it? And it 'says it all' because obviously it proves what? That i'm a bad person because i use the word 'her' whilst attempting to deal with the rudeness of a post comparing my views to those of an online troll.
You just keep on proving my point about your own lack of understanding of 'balanced debate'. I'm sure you understand irony, because your posts on this are the definition of it.
If you want balance and debate, try to realise how far from balanced and reasonable your post was showing the tweet about Grott and comparing it to the views expressed on here by me. A post which you appear to not want to address - I can understand why you wouldn't want to, as it would undermine the 'jokey' position you've taken.
Anyway, if you want to end this now, i'm fine with that, as i have been for quite a while now, just don't include me in your 'jokes' and bring it back again.
I'm also more than happy to agree with, or agree to disagree with anyone, and respect anyone's views, as long as they don't cross a line of being unpleasant.
Chill your beans Jez before we all get "baguetted"
Jez, when I read the post by Mrs O to Clive showing the Grot tweet, I seen it as showing as the extreme of what some "fans" think is OK to post about our players in the round that is social media. It was yourself and WTF who took that it was as some equating of your comments and that vile post, which seemed to be a bit OTT reaction to be honest and looking for some sort of apology where none was needed imo.
Players are am sure despite being well paid and signed up members of professional football will be affected by any comments they see, be it vile abusive messages or just constant nit picking in mid season.
However your free to disagree with my comments too (something you think I have a problem with)
MOT
I think I'm still very confused about why my few comments about the goalkeeper were attacked so much by a few when the same kind of comments by many about other players are routine and accepted.
The nit picking is so routine on here, and rightly so because it's a forum, that those about the goalkeeper were routine too.
So why the attacks?
Could it be because wtf had the same view?
Surely people wouldn't be that shallow?
😎
I think that all that was required regarding the Grot Twitter post was clarification that it was just that, an example of an extreme statement. Jez and I may differ in how we criticise, but neither of us could be accused of expressing such sentiments.
The trouble now is that th whole thing has rumbled on, far too long. We should all forget it, and start the New Year with a blank sheet on that score.
"Jez and I may differ in how we criticise"
Trouble is WTF, thats all you ever do - criticize.
i mean the way you were talking, we were getting mullered by Burton. Despite giving away a soft goal, we ran out comfortable winners away from home ffs.
