I knew someone would mention Morris. He was very popular here. I didn't rate him as highly as Carl Robinson myself, but I really couldn't stand the bloke so may have been biased.

I'd forgotten that Roscoe was initially on loan. Lived on the same street as me. Became a target for the boo boys but Ronnie and Brecks once told me that, if they moved to another club, AR would be first on their list of players they would like to take with them

You must have lived near me then, wrinkly. I lived in Clifton just 4 doors away from Roscoe's house, used to drink with him and Gary Martindale in the Clifton hotel about 20 years ago.

Yes mate, 18 years on Gilberthorpe street. Never actually saw Roscoe. I think the lass in the Chinese chippy told me he lived there. I saw Darren Garner a few years ago, he was a guest at a match and I was in the hospitality lounge with my dad. He sat with us and told us a few stories about nights in the Clifton and round at Roscoe's house.

Stephen Quinn - What a player. I wish we could have kept him.

Stephen Quinn when he was with us reminded me of a young Jonny Rotton. Played like him as well. Full of fire. Some player.
