Gwru, Dom Ball isn't coming back! He'll not play for the club again and I doubt if he'll be anywhere near the first team squad. He's a bad egg, he may have all the skill in the world but the coaching staff would prefer 10 players with less skill than him. It's all about a good ambiance.

It's it a man's game! Eventually it's got to come down to ability. When/if we get back in the championship you going to have some friction in the dressing room. If Dom Ball hasn't committed any serious misdemeanor can't see a problem. Look at Rooney, what he's done. He's still playing for same side. He hasn't been farmed out somewhere. Same with JCH, he'll be gone but he's got more to offer than any of our current strikers.

The reality is that JCH made his debut for Coventry City in 2010, but hasn't scored more than six league goals in a season for any club that he has played for... timecheck - it is now 2018. You can't blame Warney for all that!

He's just not a natural goalscorer... maybe he should be tried out in midfield?

Having spoken to Dom Ball once in a train journey he seemed like a decent kid, don't get the bad egg label, know he had a problem at Peterbro but if Warny has a problem with him don't know, surely can t be that bad can it.Seems such a waste of he s a decent player,he was at Spurs so must have talent.

It is clear that the management team are looking for people that that have a certain type of charicture and Dom Ball has been seen to not be that type of quality.

I hoped for too long that JCH would come good and I think he has but in the dieing embers of his contract. The time when he needed to do it was at the begining of the season and especially when Proctor got injured. He couldn't do it when the team needed it but he's doing it now he needs to do it. It's a bloody shame!

Yes, resonate with that - it is a shame as I was really hoping we had unearthed a gem, but something just isn't working out. He could leave and then do well - another Tom Pope?

To be fair, apart from Vaulks and JCH, you've said the same thing about every single player in the squad at one point or another this season. They're the only 2 players you've haven't said we should get rid of at least once. We'd have nobody left if we acted on your impulses.

Poor management psychology can also be at fault, but we don't know do we as the club don't make anything public.Lots of players have been difficult over the years, some managers have been good some poor, its all part of football.

Agreed it really is a shame about JCH. He was just coming of age and looking the part when he suffered that nasty injury. It's taken until now for him to fully recover from that and is just starting to look menacing again, but he needs more than 5 minute cameo appearances. I'd sooner start him than Yates tbh. Yates won't make it as a striker, I see him as more of a midfield player.
But, we're currently on a great run of form , and Yates has been starting these games. So what do I know?

Hotun, I remeber the Peterborough comment from Deano I think and it does seem like a waste of talent. Gwru makes some good points amoungst his posts regarding fitting in to what Warne wants from a player.
What he did whilst at Peterborough on loan seems to be still on the mind of the coaches at NYS. They seem to be looking at squeeky clean players who are willing to take life not too seriously, run forever and not be too critical of their colleagues.
