If so , then I disagree. The only one that got away was the Scottish Cup when St Johnstone beat us in the semi, as we’d have been hot favourites to win the final. Can’t see how McInnes could be blamed for the loss in the semi , though. Down to the players IMO

The other near miss that rankles with me is the League Cup when the jutes beat us in the semi, but again largely down to the players......well, one player in particular ...... and also Steven McLean’s scandalous decision to disallow Rooney’s goal that would’ve put us two up. I don’t blame McInnes for that one either, and even if we’d won that semi , it’s hardly a given that we’d have beat the Tims in the final

4 full seasons, 2 semi's, 3 finals is a good return. Would we want to win more, of course, but i don't think our failure to win more is solely down to McInnes.

Case in point, last seasons SC final, McInnes got that game spot on in my opinion, Hayes/McLean get that chance right, we go 2-1 up and I expect hold on to win the game.

Yes, sometimes he has made mistakes, but i think there are certain games we have been the victim of poor refereeing and some where the players needed to take more responsibility

That’s surely down to the manager, no?
I’m wary of saying “get rid of DM” as you need to think about who Milne would replace him with.
And let’s be honest, DM is bombproof with Milne anyway.

I think in the league and probably the league cup final last season he d1cked about, and rightly gets criticised for it. I also think for the Scottish cup final last season, he got it spot on. Basically, he kept the formation largely similar to the success in the league. He needs to have a little more faith in what we can do, and let us impose ourselves on them, rather than try to nullify them with something a lot of players are clearly not comfortable with

Your right, in the current climate, he is going nowhere unless he gets a decent offer from a stable club down south. I am ok with that for now, as I dont see any manager out there in our budget that would improve us significantly
