Get it done Casper, I waited 15 years for the new knee replacement, actually I had the new knee replacement 1st March 2016, so it was its birthday today, so I took it in Rhino's Wetherspoon's on way back from hospital today to celebrate, bought it some Guinness.

Best thing I did getting it done, with the pain I was in before, common sense you will get some jip now & then, but minimal compared to before the replacement, other knee is getting ready, so I would go for another knee replacement 100% if needs be.
Sorry if I put you off it Casper, but believe me go for it.

Went in the indoor market around half twelve this afternoon, no Asian market, I was told the council had cancelled it due to adverse weather safety conditions, also the bottom indoor market were told to close early, the bread stall lady I use said she was shutting at 3.30pm, on council instructions.

Our trucks all have all weather tyres on and they're brilliant. Not been stuck or even skidded once.

I meant the normal 2 wheel drive ones, should've specified

All the cars I have seen skid in the snow have been mercs, bmw or Audis. A few Fords thrown in there too, might just be a coincidence that their drivers are hopeless at driving in snow

Was like a ghost town walking around the country roads yesterday- only the odd 4x4 and van coming past. The main roads seem to be okay now though, fingers crossed this is the end of the bad weather

HR sent us home yesterday and told not to come in today .......wtf !!!

I ain't complaining of course I just find it remarkable that a bit of snow results in a total shut down .

    Bizarre .

Madness isn't it, our kids had day off today and I drove past school when taking the missus to work, all the roads were completely clear and most of the school grounds were what I could see. I've had to take the days off work as holidays too as the mrs works in hospital so had to go in

Every cloud has a silver lining though Animal and the snow has meant I got to spend quality time with the kids on their own which I don't get that often

There's a family near me with two kids at different schools. One is off school the other isn't.

The two schools are within a couple of miles of each other.
