Can anyone shed any light on why Noble took that corner at the end and not Grant?
Fair point. El Tel was slightly better than he's been of late . One last point , the Wycombe fans . Thought they were magnificent today , came in numbers and never stopped singing. Got on my lads nerves though!

Him and his team got so much wrong for both teams that the chants of "You don't know what you're doing" from both sets of supporters were fully justified. He completely lost any semblance of control and seemed to be making decisions based entirely on guesswork. Nothing fouls resulted in a yellow card and nasty ones didn't even merit a word. The second half penalty shout on Ameobi looked dubious, but the one in the first half was blatant from where I was sitting. How both him and the lino saw that as a fair challenge is beyond me.
My lad said he was going to google ( don't know if he has ) the ref when we got home to see where he was from. He thought he might be from somewhere like Exeter or Coventry!!

Just looked myself. Lancashire ,close enough to Exeter for me.

Yep. Would have taken a point like I said. A loss would have been a total disaster, so a point still keeps us nipping at the heels. Shots wise, they only had one on target out if the 8 in which you speak. We had the better chances, and yes I am blaming the ref. 1st claim was defo a pen.
