Trump's a crook and a liar, the bar's not that high.

I guess you guys would be okay with him grabbing your mother's and daughter's genitals without their consent, but I think that's worth taking a stand against. If that makes me holier than you, so be it.

By supporting Trump, I think you're basically saying you accept and/or applaud his values.

He's a fraudulent, entitled, arrogant @rsehole who cost alot of people their jobs and financial security especially in his dealings in Atlantic City. He's not just done things to regret like we all do (I don't think he has much regret/guilt in him tbh) but he's cheated normal people to make himself wealthier, he's a massive bell.end.
And the most powerful man in the world.

Scary thought but I'm sure alot of world leaders are morally corrupt, you have to have a certain degree of that to stand on others to get your own way. Not my cup of tea, I think people like that are cnuts.

I found this article in Politico, which is where he discusses the Bruce-Lovett report, which attempted to explain the rise of anti-US feelings in Arab nations

Excerpt - In 1957, my grandfather, Ambassador Joseph P. Kennedy, sat on a secret committee charged with investigating the CIA’s clandestine mischief in the Mideast. The so called “Bruce-Lovett Report,” to which he was a signatory, described CIA coup plots in Jordan, Syria, Iran, Iraq and Egypt, all common knowledge on the Arab street, but virtually unknown to the American people who believed, at face value, their government’s denials.

    Interesting reading Alty, thanks.

A lengthy read and a superb summary on page 4......."America’s founding fathers warned Americans against standing armies, foreign entanglements and, in John Quincy Adams’ words, “going abroad in search of monsters to destroy.” Those wise men understood that imperialism abroad is incompatible with democracy and civil rights at home. The Atlantic Charter echoed their seminal American ideal that each nation should have the right to self-determination. Over the past seven decades, the Dulles brothers, the Cheney gang, the neocons and their ilk have hijacked that fundamental principle of American idealism and deployed our military and intelligence apparatus to serve the mercantile interests of large corporations and particularly, the petroleum companies and military contractors that have literally made a killing from these conflicts. "

....and here I found Jimmy Dore, picking out the salient pieces of Kennedy's report......basically the CIA-USA-UK-France coalition already had plans back in 2009 to topple Assad, and the refusal to allow the Qatar pipe-line was the straw that broke the camel's back according to Wikileaks....it was only when the head-choppers suddenly appeared in 2013, that Obama went "oops" and started to try to put some distance between the US and the mess they had created, plus the millions of refugees flooding into Europe had pissed off the EU, so they refused to back the Military Industrial Complex calls for a full invasion, PAID FOR BY SAUDI........enter Mr Putin, who spots an opportunity to clear up the mess and regain the status quo....jeez, when will the West learn to stop meddling?
