    Rooney

Apparently on his way to D.C. United in the States. Isn't that a silly ending to his career?

My head keeps telling me that these players who are put on a massive pedestal are basically signing their contracts for life.
Silly ending to a career or a career that has to be ongoing, or else.....maybe.

He was incredible for a while but has been living on his inflated reputation for a long time.

Remember him criticising the England support who'd travelled thousands of mile and paid thousands of pounds to see the pathetic performances in South Africa just because they had the temerity to show their displeasure at the shite they'd witnessed.

Reckon his wife will remember him shagging around while she was pregnant too.

    Odious little shite, he is.

    Good riddance.

I think he'll do well in MLS personally.

Could see it being a solid ending to his career.

From what i've read though, he's using it as a contingency plan - seeing if/who Everton get as a new a manager.

12 million? I would say that Everton have potentially mugged off DC united rather than Rooney mugging off Everton. Assuming the deal happens.

Yep, he'll do alright at the level he descends to and show the odd flash of inspirational brilliance at that chosen level but he won't put his everything into it as he did in his first Everton spell or early Manure career.

He will just eke it out until he feels he's had enough of the bright lights.
