As usual Pboro either you haven't read the o.p. correctly or you haven't bothered to put thought into it. This obviously to anyone else wasn't put up to question the ability of the mods, who I think do a difficult job well.

It was posted thinking that it was a good idea to rationalise the situations which have been getting out of hand and with a view of letting posters know where the line is drawn i.e. 30 mph limit. You would get away with 32 mph but not 35 mph.

Also time to time there are new posters who must at least be a bit confused so I simply thought a set of reasonably strict guide lines would be helpful.

There you are a reply without insults and without pointed jibes. And as a p.s. a few months ago there were several Muslims posting on here who no longer do. I'm not saying it's because of certain posts I am just stating a fact.

You get told time and time and time and time and time again to ignore or bypass. Why can't just just do that simple thing if he's such a bad person who seems to be ruining your internet life?

A down the pub board (over 18's) would solve a lot of issues on here.
Any gripes can be sorted in there and any stray supposed trolling in topics, which seems to be the normal word these days, can be placed into the pub forum which would be minimally moderated and only ensuring the real badness posts are dealt with which you rarely ever see anyway...but at least it gives people a chance to air their grievances as well as have some good old fun when football is at a premium.

It's a simply thing to do and it doesn't matter one iota if it has 10 posts a week or month in it. It's always there to be used and can clear up a lot of stuff with the minimal of fuss.

I'd be more than willing to help out if mods don't want the hassle of moving stuff about or whatever.

It would solve a lot of issues because it would give people no reason to whinge about posters being trolls or disrupting threads and such and those people can be left to their own devices to nod at each other all day long and leave the baddies (guffaw guffaw) to argue it out in the pub.
