Not sure why link isn’t working.

    We could be involved again

The proposed cities and stadia included in the bid are:

Brighton & Hove - AMEX Stadium
London - Wembley Stadium, connected by EE, and Brentford Community Stadium
    Milton Keynes - Stadium MK
Manchester - Manchester City Academy Stadium
    Nottingham - Meadow Lane
    Peterborough - ABAX Stadium
Rotherham - AESSEAL New York Stadium
    Sheffield - Bramall Lane

That's interesting. Presumably the stadia are selected on facilities, suitability and availability? None in the north-east and despite Liverpool, Everton, Bristol and Birmingham being in the Women's Super league, no grounds in Merseyside or West Midlands.

Maybe they think it is better to play in a seemingly full stadium rather than against a backdrop of empty seats.

    That’s probably true.

The media have been pushing women’s football for a couple of years now, but I don’t think folks have much of an appetite for it.

    It looks like its happening.

Eufa has confirmed that The FA was the only prospective host to submit a bid.

Great news, especially for our club
