It's a strange one BT, Dyche kept the faith with him for far too long last season, but eventually saw the light in March and dropped him. But for some inexplicable reason he's resurrected him this season, it'll never last, no matter how much faith Dyche shows in him, the lad isn't good enough. Sean will once again have to accept reality and go with someone else.

I don't know if you went on the Turf yesterday sinkov, but I can never remember a Burnley player being cheered because he was being substituted. Dyche must react to this surely?

I didn't go BT, season before last ST holder, last season about half a dozen games, this season I have no interest in going to Turf Moor at all. It's Sky, BT or an internet feed if I can get one now, so I still see most of the games, but not in person.

I think the last time I heard the Burnley fans turn on anyone it was Brian Laws, and that had the desired effect. The last player I can remember getting booed was Paul Cook, and I was never quite sure just why he got it in the neck. I feel for Hendrick, the lad does his best, he's just not up to it, and although I wasn't there I would imagine/hope the crowd reaction was mainly one of frustration and directed at Dyche for continuing to select a player who is a liability through no fault of his own. Most fans feel he shouldn't be playing and can't understand why he is.

Acrid atmosphere around us yesterday sinkov. The toxicity was only lightened by the laughter created by watching Hendrick trying to play football.

He must be the worse regular choice, first team draft player in the EPL by some margin? Kante was literally running rings round him. Woeful.

Some fans have defended him by saying he's being played out of position, but I've never bought into that, I think he's being played in his best position, hopeless though he is. When he arrived he was being played CM, and I used to get a cold sweat every time he got the ball in front of our back four, he was always liable to lose it. Further up the pitch his ineptitude does less damage.
