Alex Miller is clearly the better manager.
Moulded the team at St Mirren that went on to win the Scottish cup in 1987 and then won in his own right with Hibs in 92
He's available, get him back in.
Indeed, Hughes (ICT) and Butcher (Hibs) are available and lauded as more successful than McInnes, get them in.
Even McIntye (Ross County) we could possibly get in. Did a sterling job getting them relegated after winning the Scottish cup and is now at Dundee.
For those wanting to oust McInnes and lauding the success of these clubs in comparison, these managers are available* go get them in Milne.
It's really quite intriguing why these successful managers are available*
*McIntyre currently under contract at Dundee, but surely we could entice if desired
I mentioned Jack Ross once or twice. You said he still had to serve his apprenticeship![]()
Here’s the thing you fluffers can’t accept about McInnes. There’s no name you would be happy with. It’s why you always ask the question
B0llocks.
I said he would not be a guarantee of success.
I had him as my 2nd preference, behind Graham Potter.
Again b0llocks.
I'll accept names if they can be seen as potentially an improvement.
Change for change sake is just ludicrous.
Whats Alan Archibald doing nowadays, he was another mentioned.
All these great managers available, you have to wonder why
Agreed, it was the league cup, but the point stand that some in here laud that Ross Counties success was greater than what McInnes has achieved
Sorry it was Alan Stubbs.
What's he doing, of he's available too
Same here, you cannot deny that some in here laud those teams successes therefore its a relevant comparison
Its plainly obvious.
No manager is a guarantee of success. You could bring Fergie out of retirement & he wouldn’t guarantee success.
If your plan is to stick with McInnes until he’s replaced with a man who can guarantee success, then you might be in for a bit of a wait. Like I said, no one would be good enough. It’s an utterly bizarre position to take
Agreed. I wouldn't argue otherwise
Now your twisting things, as usual.
I never said Ross still had to complete his apprenticeship, that's your fabrication again.
I had Ross as my 2nd choice if we were to replace McInnes at the time.
I wasn't in agreement with you that McInnes should be replaced at the time.
Clearly your blinkers are on.
At the time I put forward Graham Potter, Jack Ross and ultimately Paul Sheerin / Barry Robson duo.
Those were who I though realistically we could put in place at the time.
I would not want Hughes, Stubbs or McIntyre who are lauded by some as more successful and I'm not convinced Lennon would do any better.
Certainly Lennon's record at Hibs does not stand up to McInness's at Aberdeen.
You want him gone though, so please share who you propose to replace McInnes and I'll happily give you my thoughts on them.
Biting, far from it loon, merely reminding fellow dandies that comparing a bheast’s behaviour with our coach’s selection/tactics is just f ucking wrong as is another poster claiming he holds the wee prick Durrant in higher esteem than Big Red is just as f ucking wrong.
Each to their own I suppose, thankfully I don’t know either.
