Worst performance of the season? That's up against some pretty stiff competition. Anybody still think we can stay up?

Unfortunately the fact we have now played every team in the league has shown us what kind of side we are. One in which as a unit when we go a goal down we have very little fight, confidence, hunger and passion to get back in the game. We are so dangerously fragile defensively it is frightening. All in the fourth tier of English Football. The level of goals we have conceded this season to date must be unprecedented at any level in all our long 156 years unbroken spell in the football league, never mind the 4th tier.
It’s easy to become downbeat and depressed about it especially when we are playing a team in the bottom 1/3rd of the table and have been comprehensively beaten, but we have half a season left in which to turn it around. The January transfer window opens in just over a weeks time, so we have hope with this.
The thing is turning on the players at games will achieve nothing. During games we’ve got to get behind them no matter how angry or frustrated we maybe.
The Macclesfield home game on Boxing Day is a huge game and is massive. We really need to get the win and three points before we face Bury at home a few days later.
Bad times. We are a complete and utter shambles and it’s a disgrace that a club of our long league standing has ended up sinking so low. How did we end up like this?

Not with these players. They are simply awful in every way. No desire, no ability, no organisation - nothing. I see absolutely no reason why we would stay up unless we managed a complete overhaul in January - and even then it wouldn't be guaranteed to work.
After the last home game, I actually thought we'd turned a corner. But this team knows how to kick you in the balls the moment you start to think positively. Honestly, I've never seen a team so thoroughly lost and hopeless as this bunch - never, in all my years watching football. It's horrendous.
Trying not to give the Knee Jerk, Doom & Gloom reaction that we always get after a result like this it is difficult to see where Ardley takes us from here. As the Stats show we have played much worse & got away with it, but if you cannot defend you cannot keep escaping so you must fear the worse, 49 goals conceded already 48 conceded last season with basically the same defence???? WTF ?? I will continue to do my best for my club although it costs me money can the people who are taking a wage from us say the same?? Normally I would say that the Macclesfield game was massive but winning or losing this game will not define our season.
The team should be made to travel home on the supporters bus.
I honestly thought Ardley would make a significant difference and quickly but clearly the spine of the team is just not there. Instead of players like Stead passing on some positivity, the players heads drop immediately they go one down.
Everything now depends on who the management team can bring in during January. It needs to be loan players because any quality at this level will have been snapped up by now.
I could not rate Notts' survival chances higher than 50 /50. Lose on Wednesday and that tips nearer 30 / 70.
