Just shows how utter sh1te that league is.
Both Stockley & Maynard banged/banging them in in that league, both dross here, is specially Maynard who will rank as the worst striker in the McInnes era.

I was speaking to Arnold Mühren today at the ASV.
Asked him his thoughts on Scottish football and his views were that we had the technique and ability but that we always play at 100% and need to make the ball work more.
It’s possible that in that league they get more time than they get up here.

Agree re: Maynard, but Stockley I always felt had something.
He was rough and ready, and became a target for refs early, but he had qualities.

He always reminded me of the likes of Higdon and Moult, big units of strikers that came up from England and, in the right circumstances, could score bunch of goals.

He definitely wasn't pish. He just needed to stop jumping with his ****ing elbows all the time. He was a classy big striker or rather he could have been. Didn't help he was used as a long ball target man type.
