MillersMad Matchthread - Stoke City v The Millers

It's been a week of very mixed emotions. From the highs of the win against Forest to the unbelievable first half preformance against Villa and the horrible feeling after the game.

Let us face it we knew it was going to be tough but jees aren't we good? We have taken non league players, outcasts and knackered injury prone players and turned them into a team that apart from a handfull of games this season have competed.

We will all look back at the end of the season and think that we gave it a bloody good go in what is probably the most competitive league in Europe!

The stick the team has received this week has been astonishing to say the meast! Let us not forget who we are and what we are!
We are Rotherham United, a little, stable well run club in South Yorkshire and we are competing in the Championship on merit against the vast majority of teams that have been in the Premiership and the finance that that brings!

And what's more we could be that again next season!

We're still in this and we can win today giving us a massive step towards that goal!

A win would be nice but a draw more realistic and would be happy with that.

    1-1.

For some strange reason, Warney hardly ever picks a starting eleven with Williams in his normal position. Ok, he hardly ever scores, but nor do the other wingers.
