I think i would only offer new contracts to Ihiekwe, Newell, Taylor and Williams and let the rest move on. Be harsh on Mattock i know but Purrington is a decent league 1 left back and a lot younger with time to improve.

If we get decent offers for Ajayi, Vaulks and Smith that we can't refuse then sell them on and spend the money on young decent players from same division and below.

Out of all the players under contract i would make Wood, Jones and Palmer available for transfer.

I have to agree with that

DJ Mattock was player,s player of the year and he,ll be staying if he wants to.

He's done well for an ex grunter and I've had to give him well deserved praise this season

No he had a new deal until 2022

New deal with a relegation clause which really doesn't mean the paper it's written ,(the odds was stacked in his favour)

Just shows the commitment of the player or his agent making him feel Billy big balls.

I can't see a championship club coming in for him as a first teamer but I could be wrong revell style.

If they did it would be a team expecting to be in a fight or a team looking for s plan b (which we don't have)

I’m honestly not sure Williams hart is in the club he has pace but can’t finish I honestly think we can get someone better

As for Yates I doubt we could get bus fair for him and we don’t even play him right (when he was at Carlisle he played as a WF with two other strikers with Rotherham’s 1 striker approach he wouldn’t be able to cope in our team.

Pip as much as I like potter the fact is in the two years he has been with us he has only played 18 game never scored a goal and has 1 assist. He is as old as me and we have wiles crooks and knowing warne he will get another in if vaulks goes

I can’t see him playing for us again
