Was there any contact of grealish for their penalty , bit soft i thought.
Bias commentary from Sky and round up from WM.
Absolutely blatant penalty not given. Even in real time before the replay I was screaming for a penalty.

Free kick that lead to their penalty against Gibbs? Gayle 1st yellow card? 5 minutes added onto the 1st half and then 7 minutes added on 2nd? I can't explain some of the decisions, even being objective and not biased. I can't work it out.

Having said that, Gibbs shouldn't have dived in for their pen and Gayle probably shouldn't have dived in being on a yellow against the keeper.

The positive is that the tie is still alive, even after that referring performance.

I'm not normally prone to blaming the referee when we lose but today's referee was shocking. Forget the penalty that we should have had, Gayle's red card and their penalty; it was the number of times that we were pulled up for fouls and the number of times Villa weren't. Mind you, the fact that Villa have made diving into an art form doesn't help. I just hope that whoever is in charge at the Hawthorns isn't conned as much as today's officials were.
