Then again, unlikely you offer a new extended contract on reduced salary.
He's already been playing Milne/Cormack with unnecessary pretensions in the shape of his declarations of loyalty to afc, on the then Scotland job.
Nobody would be surprised on his next outrageous contract, given our boards incompetence.

No reason to think McInnes won’t come under the same pressure as the numerous previous managers who were hired and fired by Milne , if results and/or overall performance become steadily worse.

Calderwood got the dunt despite only once finishing outwith the top four , and even that was just by two points, when we were in with a shout of finishing fourth right up to the last kick of the final game that season. Showing that the expectations and demands at Aberdeen are , by any reasonably objective view , quite high.

And as is often mentioned by Dons fans, there isn’t much confidence in the board appointing a decent manager again. I’d guess the board themselves recognise the difficulty of getting a good replacement. which would beg the question......Why would they take the risk of getting rid of the manager who by far and away has been the best appointment they’ve made in about 25 years ?

I expect a statement saying he isn’t interested in the Scotland job at the moment once the new Scotland manager is unveiled. No c’unt wants McInnes except us now. He is past his sell by date at a very young managerial age.

I don’t know if he was full time or not, but he was a manager in his own right.
Got Arbroath promoted from the third division (winning their first ever trophy) and then 2nd in league two, just missing out back to back promotions in the play-offs.
They were relegated in 2014, but wanted to retain Sheerin as manager

I really doubt that is foremost thought on McInnes by most fans.

Take away the one cup he has won , would you still say that.

    Most wasted opportunities IMO

I doubt he was full time. I would imagine Sheerin will be off if McInnes gets another job.

Milne and McInnes have a very good relationship and that's a good thing normally but I don't think he's under that much pressure if he keeps us ticking along, particularly with the pressure of funding a new stadium.

The paper they released explains what their on the park ambitions are and how they won't spend big so everything is hunky dory.

Calderwood and Milne didn't get on and he didn't have his contract renewed. The rest of the managers were awful and deserved the sack long before they were actually sacked.

It's a sad state of affairs when we settle for something because we know Milne will make a chunt of it otherwise.

Aye, even if we’d lost the penalty shootout to ICT , I think his record overall would still be better than any of our other managers appointed in the last 25 years. Who do you think has been a better appointment in that time ?
