In the current climate I think it is used mainly to tarnish the labour party. That is just my opinion, i’ll admit I have not researched anything to form this view so genuinely welcome anyone to give me the lowdown. Where is 123?

Right then, I’ll try to find that video of Corbyn. At least that way we may or may not debunk this myth.
You'll probably find this information about Corbyn being a terrorist sympathiser firmly documented in the Daily Mail!

Labour and Corbyn are well past it, the chance came and went. To hear the same old same old again from Corbyn isn’t going to work a second time round.

Need to sack all these politicians and start from scratch.
By the way, completely agree with you on Labour.

It's such a shame the party I have championed and voted for have become what they have.

Politics needs to change. Hopefully that could be the only benefit of Brexit.

I’m pleased to hear you say this 123.

It’s too easy to have a blind faith in one party regardless of the road they go down.

I’ve always voted on instinct rather than on thoughts pushed down my throat by family or social background and when I first voted in 83 I voted Liberal because I thought Foot was a fool and the 70’s as a kid growing up under Labour were grim as I came from a “working class” background albeit never hungry or in poverty........I couldn’t vote for them and I couldn’t stand Thatcher.

At that stage and for many years I never voted Tory because in truth I didn’t find anyone from the Right who inspired me.

I abstained in 93 and voted Blair in two times because I found him to be bright, energetic, full of ideas and barely to the left of centre.

I only changed to the Tory Party under Hague and then Cameron because they were just a tad to the right of centre.

I’d rather have the chance to vote for a David Milliband or an Andy Burnham as much as I’d prefer to see a Michael Gove or a Matt Hancock or Esther McVey on the other side.

Because of the way things stand we’re faced with a choice between Corbyn and Johnson and although very much like the choice of having to sleep with your mother or your sister I’d still have to choose Johnson.

In truth he’s probably a better bet than that Rabb geezer or Steve Baker who seem to me like absolute zealots/maniacs and just to the right of Attila the Hun!

I think Johnson can be reigned in by the moderates whereas Corbyn’s Momentum mates are a terrifying prospect.

Anyway,I hope this adds some balance to the view I’m a Farage “nut Job”......the bloke is merely a vehicle of convenience for me and many others I suspect.

We are in a political mess, there's no doubt about that. If there was a general election tomorrow I would find it very difficult to know who to vote for; I'm sure that I'm not alone on this. However, there is one thing that I am certain of and that is that I could never bring myself to vote for Corbyn. If that meant voting Tory again, I would do so just to keep that man away from leading our country. If Labour 'ditched' him and replaced him with a more moderate candidate I'm convinced that they would win comfortably. However, I don't see this happening. Voting for another of the parties might let Corbyn in through the back door and that would fill me with dread. Never before have I felt like this as in the past if the candidate who I voted for didn't get in I would just think 'Oh well, let's give them a chance. It'll be OK'. With Corbyn, absolutely no way!

There are still many good MPs in the Labour Party but most of them are on the back benches, maybe hoping for the downfall of Corbyn, whose idiocy is on a par with that of Farage. Although I hope out little hope of it happening, I would like to see an agreement between the Lib Dem’s, Change UK and the Greens to come up with a joint manifesto, giving the biggest issue, environment, the priority. As for the interminable Brexit, just do the correct thing for the nation and revoke Article 50 and be done with it.

Kettering, I'm sure you're correct in the fact that there are many capable backbenchers in the Labour Party but while you've got Corbyn and his 'bully boys' they will unfortunately never see the light of day. It's a pity as we need potential opposition to the Tories.

I have to disagree with you though regarding Brexit. Morally and democratically we need to implement it.
