The extreme right are no where near comparable to the nazi party. Their rise to power was via the middle classes of Germany and in their early years getting political representation via proportional representation voting.

I would agree that BNP and national front are more nazi. I don't think Brexit party is yet but could be hijacked by them.i don't think you are a racist. There are very few if any on here who are racist in my opinion but sometimes irresponsible comments made on here might encourage out and out racists. There is a difference between making innocent/ naive comments on here about race and organising people to attack Muslims or deliberately encourage race hate. I understand arguments about being too PC but for some people racial hatred is very real to them they have to put up with it regularly.. for me for the world to be a better place we have to try to grt on together and solve the world's problems. Division will not help that.

The path to power may not be the same, nor does it particularly matter. Different eras and different political systems. Any comparisons should be focusing on the consequences of them gaining power.

*** me, Roly. Do you ever stop labelling people? I am not and never have been a member of a political party and despite having voted in every GE since 1983, I have never voted Tory in one.

Just because I think Corbyn is as big a knob as Farage does not make me a Tory, it simply makes me someone who holds a different opinion to you.

It sometimes comes across as though you don't like me, Zyles.

And I love you too, Roly. It saddens me when you make daft points though. The problem is that you are very tribal in your views on politics. It's fair enough to slag Farage off, but it's slightly off that you can give Corbyn the benefit of the very large doubt.
