Thread: Who will

Regardles if they were wanting away, not getting game time etc.the above transfers alone produced a profit of 113,5 milion pounds.

That money has gone somewhere, question remains, where?

Perhaps it went on buying up the high street?

When all the money is worked out by viewing the accounts of how it's been/being used, only then will anyone know the truth of it all. I don't know the truth of it all.....do you?

We finished 10th and 13th in the last two seasons, so we must be competing.

Merino out was a case of making the money back what we paid. A simple zero profit from a player who was sporadic and basically couldn't handle it. It was no real loss and Ki is a much better player from what I've seen, so no issues there other than somehow we should be spending money to replace Merino just for the hell of it. It makes no sense.

Perez out? He's only just left and we've just got 30 million for him. Nobody believed he was worth half that, overall. Decent player who's been hit and miss but came good when he was allowed to express himself but wanted out for a while. I'd like to keep him but he's decided Leicester is his future. Good luck to him, but he's only just gone.

Thauvin didn't get the chance but we made no profit on him.
Atsu in was the choice of many fans who had him down as a decent addition, including me. Let's see what new manager can do with him, because Rafa didn't do much with him.

Wijnaldum out for 25 million. Bought for half that. Didn't want to play for us in the end because his head was turned, plus he was a home boy.
Isaac Hayden who many fans didn't rate but rate right now, very highly because he's came good and showed his potential. The downside is, he wants to leave for personal reasons. Hardly the club's fault.

So we finish at the TV money.
I have no clue where all the money is or has gone.
I don't have access to all the accounts. Do you?

Like I said about cherry picking. In the season we went down we spent a fortune. At the start of the season in the championship we'd spent a fortune and also kept premier league players wages on the go with little TV money.

You see all this stuff has to be added in overall to see what the balance is.
It's too easy to just say the club rakes in X amount of millions but just hides it in Ashley's trousers.
By all means go with that but you're speculating as to what and where unless you have access to hard facts.
I have no access to hard facts but then again I'm not worrying about what's in whose pockets. I worry about having a club and players to watch. I have all that. It might not always be ideal but what is?

I'd sooner have what I see rather than see a pitch full of expensive mercenaries which is what we'd end up with if we had an owner that was gung ho enough to throw money about like confetti.
    Hahaha haha. ..best bollox yet.

Tax investigators struggle to find the truth when billionaires bury money in offshore accounts,Swiss banks and companies set up to hide funds.
Selling his HQ and distribution warehouse to a Malaysian sports company and renting it back doesn't make sense to a layman but will to a chartered accountant advising him.

However we can all see that clubs such as Bournemouth with gates less than half ours and much less support around the world consistently spend more on player transfers, lots of other less well supported clubs do the same.

By the way if finishing tenth and thirteenth is your idea of competing then you are in the same mindset as Ashley.

Do you know Ashley's doing any of this or are you speculating?

No they don't consistently spend more than us.
They have spent more than us on occasion. That's hardly consistently.
And also, spending is one thing. Spending wisely is another.
Did Bournemouth finish above us for all that spending?

No matter what's said. If we finished 20th we still competed.
That doesn't mean I go into any season accepting any specific finish. I go into every season expecting to see a football game on a regular basis with some entertainment and always hope for a win in EVERY game.
I expect nothing but I dream of lots and hope for lots.

Thanks for agreeing with me (in your last paragraph) that supporters like you don’t have any ambition for success at the club.

    No need to reply.

Why indulge him. . . It's not worth it, he's as supportive of the fat **** as a fly is to piece of ****.

We all know that Ashley is destroying this club.

As to the original post - who will be brought in . . .

**** knows - no decent manager would take it.

I reckon it could be Nolan with the thinking:
he's willing to support me in the press.
he's young and will do as he's told because he's so grateful for this opportunity.
he's played for the club and fans loved him as captain so this will distract them.
