Aye, that'll be me. Not exactly great but I definitely admire the man in many aspects.
He has this club stable which it's never been for a long long time before him.

We're still in the premier league, even after mishaps.
We still have a decent squad of players with money to spend on others if need be.

There's nothing wrong with Newcastle United as a football club, because it's well run.
The issue is simply the hate and bile by a section of fans who have attached massive conditions to their once apparent unconditional support.

People cutting off their own noses to spite their own faces, all because of every reason in the book to hate an owner and a massive reliance on living in the past and on managers as messiah's, even turning Rafa Benitez into some kind of god when he did no more than ordinary with the players he had and sent many players to Coventry.

Just as much as people get sick of me backing up Ashley I get sick of the hatred for him, so don't moan about my post, just accept it as my opinion to counteract the opinions I disagree with.

In almost every single article I have read about NUFC or Sports Dire the quotes have varied from"chaotic" "shambles" "ridiculous" "ludicrous" All coming from people who make their living on passing judgement on football. I have never seen "stable" associated with us until now.
Articles just on Sports Dire have also mentioned "insulting" and "disrespectful" but yes you are entitled to your opinion even though ALL evidence points in the opposite direction

I wouldn't say all evidence points in the opposite direction. I'd say all speculative guesses as to what's what points in the opposite direction.
Because let's face it, that's what people are running with, mainly. They're just passing it off as fact due to mass backing.

    Load of b0ll0x.

Squad is weaker than last season. Worse manager. It'll soon be, "couldn't get them over the line."

Stop talking ****e...you are happy just being in the Prem, the rest of us want to at least try for more....thing is though you are also happy with relegation.

Your support for the fat man is unwavering and unambiguous no matter what even though you claim to look at things from all sides. This is why people treat your posts with such contempt.

    Now go play on RTG.

Now is the time for Newcastle fans to increase the pressure of the foot on Ashley´s throat. If the golden goose starts to stutter then he really is in the sh*te and be forced to make some big decisions.

But, I fear that many of our fans will not only miss the opportunity but will save his skin - swearing and shouting at him as they hand over their money.

We should never have stopped the protests last season (scared to frighten off new owners ffs) Keeping the pressure on and the bad publicity for sports dire would of just helped the prospective buyers get a fairer deal. I could never understand the logic for stopping.
However sad it is I think you are right though Toptoon the support the team not the regime lot will still line his pockets and give him enough wriggle room to get out of the shyte he has caused himself

True but would that include club folding?

I don't think it would hit that stage but you never know the ****e he could of put us into.

hmmm a business man mate of mine (boro fan), knew Ashley when he was 1st starting out - before he made his 1st million by buying old unwanted stock for a pittance. then selling it ostensibly at half the retail price - ha he's still doing the 50% off thing lol - wonder how many million stickers he bought to last this long haha

anyways - he said he was a crooked shyster then just as he is now and warned us when he 1st bought us that he would be no good for us

he has been proved right a thousand times over

i doubt the club would fold , even if in administration etc... someone would take over the reigns - might be a long haul back but aye - i'd take that as well to get rid of ashley
