By deal I presume you mean Mays transition deal (which is simply that, a transition deal to give us a period of calm to negotiate a trade deal). I can only assume our negotiating approve it at each stage. May brought it to the Commons for ratification.

The day this issue is settled one way or another there will be no need to post on this thread Kerr. I suspect though that there will be a new thread started-assuming this doesn't carry on-"The repercussions of coming out of the EU with/without a deal or staying in the EU".

I am expecting a lot of "I told you sos from posters saying its you daft sod's fault for getting us out/ keeping us in". It will not end well whichever way it turns. I have no faith that things will be better for working class people whatever happens. Personally I think the EU will break up anyway shortly so its all a bit inevitable we will "come out". I'll give it 5 years. If we do come out I think it will be shorter.

I assume from that reply you have not read the treaty. Here you go mate I suggest you read this and then come back and tell me that this document is what you consider to be fair to the UK!

This document is a surrender document that ties us in to the EU until at least 2020 without a say what happens in the EU and continues to make laws and rule us with EU courts. It keeps us in free movement and the single market with NO WAY OUT unless the EU agrees we can leave.

We would have to pay our full membership fee and participate (in monetary terms only) with no say what happens to that money until at least 2020 and if the EU decide not to give us a deal by 2020 we would be tied in to the EU giving them full money until they decide to give us a deal! If ever.
