If I were PW I'd invite Brecks and Ronnie for a pint in the Masons on the way home to Tickhill one day and pick their brains.
He has a wealth of experience on his doorstep who I'm sure would love to help. Brecks is one of the best defenders we've ever had so must be able to give sound advice.

You can't argue with the "experts" on here Stovic; it's like trying to have a conversation with the Barmy Brexit Brigade.

Are you an expert then? Perhaps you should give everyone who has given their opinion on the game (I haven't because I wasn't there) your alternative views about what was right about today. It's not very clever just criticising others if you don't have a constructive comment yourself.

Maybe it's the sheep with blind faith who are the problem.

We have got serious problems. How long before the players lose respect for 'Mr Nice'?

We need an absolute bas tard to get the best out of the players.

If we want promotion call Megson.

I thought we were pretty poor all game. First half apart from Haskie I thought we had little attacking threat. I thought we were perhaps marginally better than them and the tactics of stopping their threat from the left with Morris playing deep when needed was working. The difference was the tactics and substitutions of both teams in the second half.

They put on attacking players and we responded by going so deep the result was pretty inevitable. Bringing Mattock on was supposed to stop them but it didn't work. I thought Ledapo was not the player to be playing one up front on his own. It was 4-5-1 at the end and Smith should have come on for Ledapo. Ledapo wasn't holding the ball up and waves of attacks just kept coming at us. With no width and Ledapo not running into the channels like Smith does we didn't have an outlet when the full backs got the ball. It just seemed like we would string a few passes together into midfield and then end up back at the keeper. Then a long ball from Price to no one and repeat.

I though Haskie and Lindsey both had good games but apart from that I thought we looked all over the place tactically especially in the second half.

Any talk of getting rid of Warney is for me just plain stupid. He needs to stick to the system and refine it until its right. This season was always going to be a year of redevelopment and rebuilding. I think we will eventually click but we probably have a few more games of pain until it happens.

I don't think it is unfair to criticise the relentless negativity on here. For me, along with the multis, it's the main reason that so many have deserted millersmad. Yes, we are not playing great, we don't look particularly fluid going forward, we don't yet appear to know our best formation or players, we leak too many goals from set pieces, we concede too often at pivetol points in matches (before and after half time & at the death) and generally we do look a bit soft. Millers have a right to complain at what they see and we've never been a fan base of deluded happy clappers but the level of negativity is way OTT. We are 5 games in with 13-14 new players. It is in the stands too. I've always thought us millers are less reactionary and bigoted then some of our local neighbors. We are used to a bit of a struggle and we take it in as good spirits as we can. The tivoli used to never stop signing even when we lost every week. When we moved into New York for a few years it was the same. Maybe that was just a new stadium effect? I've stopped signing at home matches because I always cop abuse for it. Can't be ****ed anymore.

Warne has his flaws, i've never known a millers manager who doesn't. Everyone is an expert now. We had been under the cosh for 15 minutes when Mattock came on. It's not really that unusual to bring a defender on in those circumstances, away from home, against potential promotion rivals. If bringing a defender on to see out a lead doesn't work for us, we need to find a way to make it work because you can't always defend through attack in gritty 3rd division games. The players have flaws, they are not going to retain the ball all the time because we're a league one side but Lindsey, Crooks, Wiles, Mcdonald, Ogbene, Barlaser, Hastie, they all have technical ability. Barlaser has impressed me the least, he looks a bit nesh, but early days. This division is ****. We will win plenty of games comfortably without even playing well, I will hang my hat on that. Keep the faith, grumble if your not happy, fair enough but calling for the managers head after 5 games with a new squad? Makes us look like Wendy fans.

Criticisms fine but calling for his head after a few league games is laughable. The same people calling for his head will be saying he's the best thing since sliced bread when he turns it around.

Consolidate mid table this year, work on a better formation with wide players, two proper midfielders required were too lightweight.

    Have a go next year

Yes I think Warnes got a lot to learn but Barker & others in the club must take some flack. For the last half hour we looked like a sinking ship, not enough players rolling their sleeves up.
