Luckily I was out in the town yesterday afternoon so didn’t have to see or hear the match. I had no plans to pay any attention to what I fully expected to be another spineless capitulation anyway.
When I finally saw the score I just laughed. Nothing else for it. All too sadly predictable.
A 5-0 defeat to any Scottish side should be a sacking offence for an AFC manager under any circumstances.
The fact we have a gutless @rsehole chairman who has previously found a 9-0 defeat & a jakey manager getting pished & missing a match as perfectly acceptable there’s no chance DM will be fired.
Yes we’ve got injuries - but we've signed a bunch of injury prone players so who’d have thunk it.
I also think the training & physio work needs a serious look at as this number of injuries is not just bad luck in my view.
The 3 year contract in the summer was madness. Simply baffling & totally unnecessary at the time.
It’s left us completely stranded in no mans land - we can’t fire him (not that Milne would) & he won’t quit as this is the biggest & best job he’ll ever have.
He’s not lost the dressing room - but it’s definitely gone stale & he's not got the ability or vision & thinking to change it.
Long dire season ahead. Currently I’m not in the least disappointed it’ll be my last with a season ticket for some time.
I’ll wager plenty others feel the same...
Lol, desperate again Aldo.
On the contrary.
I’m very decisive.
Had the club not been embarking on moving, I would have been saying now was the time to roll the dice, but I think the club needs stability and as McInnes has qualified us for Europe 6 or 7 times in a row, we will want to retain that stability until the new ground is in place.
See above and earlier posts.
It’s all there.
