I would have liked to see Lamy come on for Hastie.

Yep makes sense he was well forward and never too far off Smithy. It worked well because it played to both of those players strengths. Think we should stick with this Warney at least for a while it looked really good today.

Was thinking the same, bit strange bringing a forward in a wide position, that said Warniola masterstroke

I agree with Brin, I thought Lindsay was outstanding today, a proper terrier in midfield.
I suspect he may pick up a few yellow cards as the season goes on because he really gets stuck in. Man of the match for me but to be honest there were a few contenders today which is refreshing to see

Thought Lamy was gonna come on for the last 10 mins and 4-0 up. You can only wrap a player up in cotton wool so much Mr Warne. Even if he had not touched the ball it would have been a good intro for him had he come on.

Agree with the Lyndsey plaudits ,wears his heart on his sleeve and a good footballing brain. Scored a lot of goals for Ross County so wouldn't be surprised if he did it for us if he played a bit further forward.

Smith's cross for the first goal was superb. Probably better than any cross from open play I've seen for a while considering he ran to the by line.

Warne got this game completely right and full credit to him for outhinking the opposition manager from the start.

Crookes was brilliant. Him and Smith pressing their defence made them look like school kids.

Lynsey and Hastie also played well and I like Wiles in that role.

We dropped off when Smith went off which says something.

Full credit on a good performance.

Oh and how good was Smith's second pen?

I also thought as a club we handled the flares situation very poorly. All it takes is a bucket with either sand or water to put the flares in. Come on Mr Safety Manager get it sorted!
    Flares or smoke bombs?

Wood back in the side and we keep a clean sheet!

Onosunde is the best right back we've had since Gerry Forrest.

Lindsay is going to be the best midfielder since Talbot.

Barlaser may get better but if not we need someone else to step up.

Smith was impressive and reminded me of all of the good things about last season.

    Hastie is silky smooth

There is some finesse needed to make us better. Only two teams have come to NYS and taken us on.Coventry and Bolton have been soundly beaten doing so. Unfortunately I think that most teams will shut up shop, park the bus and cause frustration. I love days like these where we bloody the nose of teams doing well!

Well done Millers and Paul Warne, got this one right.
We had a game plan and stuck to it, by pressing them high up the pitch it stopped Coventry City playing their usual game of playing it out from the back.
Four goals and four assists from Coventry, what’s not to like.

My MotM...Matt Crooks, looks much better playing just behind Smith.
Lindsay was outstanding as well and got through a lot of work.
