We'd need to know if 'May' and the SA's at least partly pulled out because Hardy wanted assurances about the football side of things or if it was purely because of the Haydn Green Estate, as was assumed at the time.
The SA group didn't pull out, the "love me" one told them he was going with the Danish group. The SA group had been on the scene a long time doing all the back ground works. Don't know why it was called a SA consortium as Hew Jenkins ex Swansea Chairman was involved, also someone who was involved in a group of up market Hotels. this is probably where the rumour of wanting to build a hotel at the ground came from.

Junior funds are provided by hard working parents of the Ilkeston Community to enable their children to feel part of a football family.
We have requested further details from Mr Hardy and await a response.

    Good grief.

Well he's suddenly disappeared from Tw@tter again.

A couple of days ago he had a video of him learning a revised golf swing - to which some wag commented:

"Wonder how long you hold on to that club for before you destroy it"

A few Ilkeston fans were thanking him profusely only recently for 'saving the club'.

I can't say I'm that surprised at this news really and I'm sorry for Ilkeston. I sometimes wonder where Alan Hardy's story is going to end up. He's a wrong 'un.

Yes but it won't be his fault.

I must admit that for 90% of his time at the club I clung to the belief that Alan Hardy was a well-meaning but inexperienced owner. The way he left us and subsequent events however have shown that all the accusations about him by MiG and others were absolutely correct.

It's a pity MiG's posts painted a picture of him as a very bitter man with a personal grudge against Alan Hardy. If he had not been so scathing in every post he might have been taken more seriously and would likely have been believed.

    Good grief.
Whilst that is the most visibly obnoxious part , the shortfall in the Hardy warranties might be the most damaging to the club in the long run , it makes you wonder what the undisclosed debts were.
