I kinda agree sometimes. Upto this season he has mainly played alongside wood. Woody does the dirty stuff whilst Ike mops up.. Ike n Robertson are very similar players. They both need a woody type player to look there best..
Na. For me he's a CB who could occasionally play holding midfield

Matt Olosunde can play centre - back once Billy Jones comes back to fitness in the New year. Woody should be back soon as well.
No immediate rush to bring someone in but if there is anyone available on loan in January by all means have a look at him.

That's a very optimistic assessment, C64F... you been at the Xmas sherry?
I hope that you are right, but it seems unlikely. Not convinced by Olosunde's defensive qualities so far... or the likely fitness of the other two

Can't agree with Perigord's comparison. WBA management team rate Ajayi the "steal of the century" and i've got to agree he was chronically undersold. Paper rumour is that Tottenham are contemplating a £50 million bid in January. Icky will never be a million pound player.

...Yes mike it was an optimistic assessment...Olosunde is an attacking full back rather than an out and out defensive one, he can play centre-back or midfield.
Richard Wood should be back in training in about a week, Billy Jones we won't see whilst the New year possibly end of January....if at all..

    Ps. I don't touch sherry....I'm a real ale and brandy man..lol.
