From my football days, I get what Ardley says about 48hrs not being enough recovery time. No football tournaments ask teams to do that. NBA is always an interesting comparison, yes 82 games in about 5 months, but players are on court for only up to 38 mins per game, there are so many stoppages and the court is only 27.8m long!
This game is probably how it could have been predicted in that both teams are cancelling each other out in the final third and no keeper has really been tested and no team has really created anything of note.
What could go in our favour is the quality on the bench and any changes we make later on. That could just give us the upper hand if Solihull tire.
Also, we don't have anyone with any dead ball quality without Booty or Shields....so nicking one from a set piece looks unlikely too.
Change to a 4-4-2 neal and get ozzy and enzio on!
Playing 2 games in 48 hours is more about recovering from injuries/knocks than fitness.
A mate of mine is a physio and you see far more football injuries in football than say Rugby, because the area of contact is mainly the feet which are far more delicate than the upper body.
Ardley just done exactly what I said!!!! HAHA
