You not think the championship itself is the one thing that doesn't give them a chance .

The league table didn't lie in 2017 / 18 and it doesn't lie tonight either .

Nobody is suggesting big names but play the straw man if it suits you to do so .

Looks like struber hasn't grasped the English language his interpretation of experience is signing 2 of his" old boys"

We're in a relegation scrap in one of the hardest leagues in Europe ffs & here we are signing players with absolutely no pedigree at all who no-one has ever heard of
Never said any of those were any good I’m merely saying give the lads a chance everyone writes them off before they’ve kicked a ball can’t believe how negative people are, if they didn’t sign no one we’d moan no signings we sign people we moan, struber knows what he needs he ain’t daft and he’s got his “number 1 target” so we have to trust the manager, the current team is one of the best going foward I’ve seen in years with the ball but on the flip side the defence is some of the worst of not the worst it’s not all doom and gloom I’d be worried if we had a wage bill of stoke / Huddersfield who are equally as bad as us and in this mess

So you think a 19 year old kid with no experience at this level & precious few games above youth level is acceptable as Strubers number 1 target. Just shows the level we have sunk to

Welcome to the board mate. Tha reight, it's wrong to judge afooar wiv sin em laik a few games. However, I stand by what I said on the Ritzmaier thread- "foreign players seldom hit the ground running, especially at a club fighting for their lives at the foot of the Championship table"

It's optimistic and probably unfair to expect these two lads to come in and make an instant impact. Obviously I hope they can come here and make a big impact but history doesn't favour that happening in the short term. We can live in hope I guess

It should go without saying that nobody who supports BFC would want any incoming player to fail, however the Bull Sh.t that comes from the club when we sign someone is second to none!
They must think we are stupid and are too poor to be able to check the history of players on Google?

"Ludewig arrives from Red Bull Salzburg, who currently sit top of the Austrian Bundesliga table, without a loss this season in their 18 matches played"

He has had nothing to do with them sitting top of the league unbeaten because he has NEVER played a game for them!

I'm sure that the article they put on the main site is the same for every player and they just change the name and nationality? "Top Target" "Wanted by other clubs higher in the pyramid" "Strong, can pick a pass, good in the air" with all these brilliant players we should have won the Champions league by now?

For me this is another of the "fingers crossed" that he's any good signings and if we stay up he will sign permanently and then leave for bigger money a little further down the line......same old story! I hope the lad does well? but for me he's a little more intelligent than the others this lot signed because he hasn't committed himself to us permanently.

    Top post perky
It's an insult to our intelligence expecting us to swallow all the bullsh1t they come out with although judging by the comments by some on here perhaps they're not so far out

However the percentages of them improving us to the extent they make the difference between staying up or going down is slim given neither have championship or English football experience and one is 19 years old , both have also the small matter of settling here in the UK too .

The January window is generally accepted as the opportunity to save yourselves if you are in relegation trouble and I see very little to feel encouraged about with these two .

They may well turn out to be decent players at some point in the future , the fact is that they need to hit the ground running and we haven't the time to bed them in .

A proper club would have brought in the necessary english based experience and the percentage of staying up would be increased .

This however isn't a proper club anymore .
Acuna Matata. This has been happening for years at the club. I don't really care what goes off behind the scenes anymore. If they keep putting effort in on the pitch, which they are. It's good enough for me. I've stopped attending and sold my season ticket but I've really enjoyed the football I've seen on sky red button and main channels this season.

I think we should back Struber to keep us up merely on strength of performances which have been good in the main all season. I honestly think Jules has summed it up well lately.

I also think I'm along the same lines as Pass in my lack of attendance as I'm more disillusioned with the game in general rather than what's happening on Grove Street.

I wish them all well. Until I see them play I can't really allude to whether they are good signings or not. Just live in hope that they are.
