It's a mentality that is the difference between the rich and the poor. It's not "just" £2.50, its a low barrier to wasting money more generally, and over a lifetime when compared with better financial decision making is the reason you can see a huge disparity in living conditions often between people on otherwise similar incomes.

John, would you rather spend £5 on a snobby cup of coffee then?

    I'm sure there's a psycho-babble explanation for most things.

Hell no. I bought a Aeropress for £18, and I get delicious ground coffee from Aldi for around £1.15 that will make many cups.

I used o2 and got many many free cafe nero's through their reward apps, I also have about 4 cards worth of stamps for extra free coffees, but I very rarely will go for a high street coffee.

    Since you ask.

Very nice John and practical too using Aldi. As for coffee, I've not drunk this since 2000 after a bad caffeine hype/episode, I was drinking on average 7 cups a day. I now only drink Peppermint tea as a hot beverage, again Aldi's own peppermint tea.

Lol, see my reply to John, I don't do coffee anymore, I'd settle for a nice peppermint tea though, Thanks for the offer.
