Yup...look after yourselves, folks.
The children in our care will all be fine. Sure, they'll miss out on a few months of the curriculum but they'll catch up eventually.
What would be more damaging would be for them to see the adults around them panicking and worrying and for them to feel that worry.Whether parents, teachers or carers, we need to stay strong and stay calm...show them kindness, patience and love...read them books, play with them, sing with them and laugh with them. protect them until this is all over and they'll be fine.

Germany seems to be handling it best in Europe. They have invested heavily over the years in intensive care - I think they have 25,000 beds available and a respirator for each one (well impressive). They are also testing like crazy and have developed their own test.
Another factor is cultural. Italy does have an old population but many more families in Italy have 2 or 3 generations living together in the same house than in Germany (i.e. kids living with their parents and grandparents in the same house). This has really shafted them as the youngies have passed it easily to the olds and, as we know, the latter are far more susceptible to dying from the virus. The Spanish also have this culture.
UK culture is similar to Germany, in this respect, and so good for you. Not so much for us here where the culture is more like in Italy.
just remember the site might well be open if you get bored get on and talk about anything and everything - hopefully nothing controversial looks like football is on the back burner - you never we might return to the good old days
Yep...sites like ours are important in keeping some aspects of our lives as normal as they can be.
And when I say 'ours' I mean everyone who posts on this site or even just reads it. For some reason, whoever is reading this has chosen to come here and read it, and if forums can give people a bit of that 'normality' then that can only be a good thing.
Only if it gets fixed!
